How to remove Powered by Blogger from Blogger Interface?

Steps to remove Attribution Widget from the new Blogger Interface



Let's have a look at the Attribution Widget before it's removal in the Layout

Step1: Click on Template and then Click Edit HTML

Template -> Edit HTML


Step 2: Click on the Proceed button on the Message that follows:

Step 3: Click on Expand Widget Templates

Step 4: Remove the following script from the Code Section:
Remove this script part

Remove the script starting from <"b:widget='Attribution1' locked='true' " to "/b:widget>" as shown in the above snapshot. 

THE ACTUAL SCRIPT PART COULDN'T BE WRITTEN AS A TEXT IN THE ABOVE LINE

Step 5: Click on Delete widgets button:



Step 6: Now the Attribution Widget will no longer be available in the Blogger Interface


Then the Attribution Widget will no longer be available.

    1. The 'Attribution Widget' has been removed from this blog using this method and the screen snapshots were taken while removing the widget from this blog. We tried it again with another Blog and it works.

  2. They've just found out the trick because it's not working anymore. I'm looking forward to finding a new way to hide it! Thank you, anyway.

    2. Blogger does not allow uploading files of SWF as Video Format so here's the Video link:

      Do just as done in the Video, start with the b:section and end with /b:section> just as in the Video as opposed to starting from b:widget as described in this post
